Karen moved from New York to Florida in 1994. She has over 39 years of combined legal and public adjusting experience. This work background and the knowledge she gained during that time gave her the ability to understand insurance policies and the rights of policyholders. Karen's strength and perseverance allows her to represent her clients well by recovering everything they are entitled to for their claim. She helps her client's understand the complicated insurance claim process and explains all available coverages in their policy.
Karen's experience includes adjusting insurance claim losses for residential and commercial property owners caused by water damage due to plumbing or other leaks, hurricane, fire, flood and sinkhole claims. Karen is a Certified Property Insurance Appraiser & Umpire (CPAU) for insurance claim disputes. She is a member of the Insurance Appraisal & Umpire Association (IAUA) and the Windstorm Insurance Network. Karen also researches, values and appraises personal property inventories for her clients as part of the claim process. She is Matterport Certified and is a Notary Public in the State of Florida. Karen is a proud member and currently serves as the Past President of the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (FAPIA) and Chairs several committees. She has a passion for helping others and is the President of the FAPIA Foundation, Inc. where she volunteers, donates and works to raise money for those in need in our local communities. She also enjoy working out and quality time with family and friends. |

Scott has over 40 years experience with insurance property claims. Additionally, Scott previously owned a disaster restoration company that specialized in professionally cleaning residential and commercial properties after floods, fires and smoke damage. He was approved to perform work for numerous major insurance companies as a preferred vendor. Scott also previously owned a company that specialized in cleaning contaminated air duct systems which are common in water and fire losses. During that time he obtained an Indoor Air Quality Specialist Certification.
Scott is a Certified Property Insurance Appraiser & Umpire (CPAU) for insurance claim disputes. He is a member of Insurance Appraisal & Umpire Association (IAUA) and the Windstorm Insurance Network. Scott also researches and values personal property inventories for his clients. He previously owned and operated a furniture consignment store that specialized in antique furniture and collectibles. When Scott relocated from Connecticut to Florida in 2005, he realized that all his prior experience made him uniquely qualified for a career as a public insurance adjuster. Scott is a proud member of the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (FAPIA) and is a licensed FAA drone pilot in the state of Florida and is Matterport® Certified. In his time away from work, Scott enjoys serving as a Eucharistic Minister & Lector at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Deerfield. He also loves a good rock concert and caring for rescue cats. |
